This book is so peaceful, inspiring, and uplifting if you take the time to focus on the words. It is a real "stop and smell the roses" type of daily readings. It is in a devotional format, meaning you could read one short chapter a day, and then stop to reflect on the message. I tried to read through it briskly when I first opened it up and I didn't get much out of the words. But later I tried it again, when I was feeling stressed and was trying to calm down. I realised that this is gentle poetry, and must be read slowly and deliberately with much reflection. Is there any reason why one shouldn't focus on love?
