I recently purchased a TCL Roku 50” 4H TV. I am the Barbara Villa in my family so I searched for a few days to find the right mount and this was it! I purchased the updated version with the template because I was going to mount it alone (My TV is very light, don't mount your TV alone). Sure it was a few extra dollars than the original version, but that template made life reeeeeeaaal easy. The only problem I had was that my beams were too far back in the wall so I had to purchase 61lbs drywall anchors (my tv is light you should use anchors that correspond in weight with your TV and the surface you are drilling into). After that everything went fine.
DON’T WING IT, Be Prepared, Read Directions You will need a Drill, Phillips screwdriver, beam finder, pencil and leveler
Pros: *Easy to install (You don’t need to be Bob or Barbara Villa) *“Rob Boss” calmly guides you though in the instillation video. Hilarious BTW!! *Leveling screws *The template *can slide left and right *sufficient tilt angle *reasonable price!
Pro Tip: Level the template on the wall before drilling Buy you cable cover from Home Depot or something, its cheaper than on amazon and in smaller quantities.
