The wig is mildly adjustable with some hooks in the back, and I was able to fit all of my hair under it. I had pulled my hair back and worn a hair net to keep it in place, and then just used some bobby pins to keep the wig in place and it stayed on for the 5 hours that I wore it. It slid back a little but I probably could have fixed that with some more bobby pins. Or I may have just been paranoid that it was sliding and it may have been fine.
Anyway, the wig is a nice brown color with a reddish tint to it. It covers the scalp nicely. It does have a somewhat shiny, plasticky look to it, but it's a synthetic wig for $20 and it was nicer than I expected. It definitely helped me to pull my Dorothy costumed together at a time when my own naturally brown hair was too short to be braided and curled properly. My days of planning when to dress up as Dorothy months ahead of time to grow out my hair may be over!
