So, this is not the amazing online learning program that it is cracked up to be - at first I thought it was alright but basic (I have done programming before), but after awhile it was horrible - like when he gets to "nested if statements" and "appending lists" - probably some of the worst explanations I have ever seen. The main problem is that he is using a typical math-textbook, rote-learning approach to coding, but does not give you any real examples of what to do with the concepts - like appending lists - I have not used lists before, and have NO IDEA why you would use the commands he shows - there are no underlying computer science explanations here, because this guy does not have any background in it...which on the face of it could be a really good thing, but it turns out, not so much. Unless you have NEVER PROGRAMMED at all, I would not waste your time with this book - and even if you haven't, I still think there are other books that are better and present more background theory as well as real coding examples, not just regurgitating the lines of code on his online system to show that you can copy what he just showed you.
