I recently tested the new Overture PETG Orange and, as always, I could not expect anything else but great results. I printed a 3D Benchy at 150% scale in order to test stringing and bridging. Besides the line on the hull, a well known Prusa Slicer issue due to the way it prints infill and solid layers, the print came out great as shown in the pictures.
My print settings were exactly the same as of all my Overture 3D PETG colors:
- 250C / 240C - 90C / 85C - 10mm /s first layer / Prusa MK3S stock profile for all others with 4 perimeters and 15% Gyroid infill. - thin wall / bridge detection
As standard, it comes with a great resealable bag and a free 200x200 build surface, which has a very good texture for PETG as well as PLA.
I have more of the new colors on the way. Can't wait to post the results here.
If you are interested in a great PETG at a very honest price, Overture 3D is your go to brand, no questions asked...
Overture 3D PETG filaments (all colors):
Super easy to print, Almost zero stringing (although this is really up to your printer settings), Great layer to layer adhesion No issues with bed adhesion (print slow for the first layer!) Excellent reusable vacuum sealed bag.
You get a free 200x200 build sheet with each filament you buy.
The clear PETG was launched recently, but it is as great as the other ones and prints exactly the same way.
If you are looking for a great filament for an honest price, look no further!! Overture 3D is your go to filament!!
5.0 out of 5 stars
Great filament for the price (HIGHLY recommended!!!)
