Ive never been a "fan" of Alicia Keys, but I have always enjoyed her singles, and when I heard her latest two, especially "Try Sleeping With a Broken Heart," I was amazed and wanted to hear some more.
So I ordered it and heard it for the first time yesterday. The first time you hear it, it might be boring, but once you let it grow on you it turns out to be a beautiful album and a worthwhile purchase.

"Doesnt Mean Anything" is a beautiful slow song, which reminds me alot of "If I Aint Got You" when it comes to lyrics/meaning. It is very beautiful.
"Try Sleeping With a Broken Heart" is my jam! I loved it from the second I heard it! The synthetic backgrounds add to her wonderful voice. The beat is retro, 80s style and absolutely catchy. "Unthinkable (Im Ready" is my second favorite in the album. The beat is intricate, with an urban/hip-hop undertone to it. It is sencere and sexy. "Wait Till You See My Smile" is my third favorite because it is a song about empowerment with great synthetic backgrounds to it as well. "How it Feels to Fly" is a beautiful ballad, seemingly sad but absolutely triumphant. It encompasses the idea of an element of freedom.

Personally, this album also had some downfalls to it. "Love is My Disease" is a song where Alicia seems to be wailing, with a hint of reggae that I did not enjoy. "Like the Sea" was annoying, I would just skip to the next track. "Love is Blind" is backward to me, its a new style I have a hard time getting used to.

Overall, a few songs are a disappointment, but overall it is a great product, worth buying that will have you replaying it over and over again. The price is totally worth it, by the way.
