I used this to shine a pair of dark Timberlands that had become very marked up after walking a dog in the rain and snow for a couple weeks. It really did the trick! I attached before and after pictures. The green check is the shined shoe, the red X is the unshined shoe. It does make them darker, but I think it's actually closer to what the original color was so that's great!
