Bought a few months ago to run from my pc HD video card to my HD monitor. Worked well for a few months but recently started experiencing picture quality problems. Also, after rebooting pc, monitor never activated. Switched out this cable with a new cable and issue went away. I figured I could use this cable for my office TV (roku HDMI to TV HDMI) . When trying to play movies from Netflix or Hulu app, got purple screen with only audio. Replaced this cable with a new one and all worked fine. Might just be an anomaly, but this cable seemed to have issues after a few months of use.
