These gloves are pretty thick, which makes them quite durable. But I can feel the leather bunching up between my fingers. A golf glove should feel like a second skin. The idea is that you put it on and almost instantly you completely forget that you're wearing it. That is not the case with the Dawn Patrol. I was hoping they'd be okay because they're so cheap. But it turns out they're cheap for a reason. I thought the hype about Cabretta leather was just marketing gibberish. It's not. Cabretta is better.
If you are someone with manly, calloused, thick-skinned hands these might be a good fit. Or if you simply don't care that much how a golf glove feels. I'm sure there are plenty of people who aren't as picky as I am. But for me, the leather is too thick. The Srixon Z Cabretta or the old faithful Titleist Player's are the best gloves I've tried. I highly recommend the Srixon.
I haven't tried the Callaway Cabretta glove, the Tour Authentic. I would imagine that it's probably just as good as the Srixon and Titleist.
