I ordered this book over a month ago and before I finished the first chapter, the pantry and fridge were cleaned of all processed wheat crackers, flour and bread.
Dr. Davis has changed my life. This is not a diet! I have been a faithful vegetarian in the Midwest since fifteen years old because I wanted a lifestyle change. I could skip over all the meats, and double up on the dinner rolls at family functions. Looking back, I was severely addicted to wheat. My vegetarian morality was shrouded in wheat addiction.
I was skinny fat a month ago. My stomach was distended and big although my arms are toned and slender. As of today, a month later, I have lost ten pounds mainly around my midsection.
The weird rash on my arms that I grew to accept has vanished. My shape is changing. I look younger. I do not have to eat constantly.
Dr. Davis goes indepth with the material because the science exists. Wheat can be contributed to a myriad of problems and life threatening illnesses. Looking back, I am thankful because all of the information shifted my outlook to see the truth about this poison that is the base of the government's food pyramid.
I have devoured cheese, oils, chicken and pork this month. I also have not refrained from corn, oats, potatoes or dark chocolate. I seriously only cut out wheat! Although, I do find that these items seem less and less appealing.
Please opened your mind to a wheatless lifestyle and order the book!

I have followed this diet for awhile now. I never went back to eating wheat, but I have to admit that I don't follow all the advice in the book. I eat homemade corn tortillas, potatoes, and rice quite a bit. I gave up sugar for honey.
Anyway, I went from a snug size 10 to a size 2. I have curves; I never realized how petite my frame is. I went from 160 lbs to 123 lbs. I have not exercised in five months because of a very serious injury. Despite not exercising, I am the same size before my accident!
