To preface: this novel was much better than its predecessor, the backdoor pilot.
Like many indie authors, who gain a large following from quirky series, the quality significantly drops once they're signed with a publisher. This has definitely happened to Hunting. Pucked was like a fully formed human. It had several acts and drew on the reader's emotions. AFfaF, on the other hand, is the equivalent of a 20 week fetus or an adult forearm. The buildup takes forever, and by the time you finally reach the actual story, the novel is over. She used to be a one click for me, but I may have to rethink that if the quality doesn't pick back up
