Do not be fooled by the few poor reviews. This is one of, if not THE absolute best spring bar tool out there. Anyone who says it is not durable or that it breaks easily is either using it improperly, or with unnecessary excessive force. Or both simultaneously. Bergeon is like a watchmaking tool equivalent to Snap-On, Mac, Matco etc.. and just the same with these name brand hand tools, when misused they can be broken. That does not mean they are low quality. It only means for example that a screwdriver, regardless of its quality, is not a pry bar, and that one can be broken quite easily when used as such. So in other words, if you are clumsy, ham-fisted, and inexperienced working with small delicate pieces such as watch spring bars, you might break this tool...and any other spring bar tool for that matter. However, if you have a very basic understanding of how to use precision hand tools, and are aware that tiny little thin pieces of metal can be bent and broken, then this tool will not fail you.
