Slow reading, slogging through 375 pages and then wraps up in a very few pages. The ending including the defense attorney’s financial condition was presented out of the blue at the end with nothing in the rest of the book permitting the reader to play detective. All in all a very rushed an disappointing ending.
I have read other Martini books, such as the judge. He seems on better footing when there is more dialogue with Acosta and or Harry.
This one in my opinion is not worth the time or effort
