Pros: - Higher quality steel than its cheap Chinese counterparts. - Ditto Swiss build quality. - Greater attention to detail in design directly translates to greater ease of use.
A huge step above the cheap Chinese tools. The use of higher-quality steel is apparent in every use, and it's greater heft lends a degree of ergonomic comfort that the cheaper tools do not possess. Had an issue with the pin-end breaking, but the vendor was quick to send a replacement and it turned out to be the bracelet pins more than the tool as evidenced by a replicated effort by a local jeweler which returned the same result. In other words, unless Hattori Hanzo has gone into the business of making watch tools, that bracelet was likely going to win. High degree of value and quality for what it costs - its QPR ratio is well above 1:1. Would have given it 5 stars had it not been defeated. By a ladies' watch. Simply put, a must-have for anyone with a watch who likes to change their own strap or band - this goes double if you have a nice watch or watches. Highly recommended.
