I watched the trailer some time ago and was excited about this movie. Initially, I thought of it as the typical police brutality awareness movie. I can assure you, this is not that. This is a fresh take on the cycle of violence as it pertains to the black community. Still, this film is not biased at all. All arguments are given their time to sit with the audience as the movie goes on. This movie is not for the faint of heart and it might piss you off. But, it sticks true to the realism that is in the world today. This is not trauma porn at all--merely a story about a grieving father roped into the cycle of violence. This film explores this journey through those around him as well. I recommend!
