I have a nice peasant costume going and this was a great addition. The ball is actual glass and the cork is ... well ... cork. It's nice and heavy duty, not cheap or thin plastic. The strap is a bit cheaper. Not leather, but I didn't expect leather for the price. The strap is heavy duty enough to be secure for the ball when it's full of liquid - that's what really matters. I sponged on a bit of black and dark brown paint to make the strap look older and worn (less shiny). All around super cool (and inexpensive) addition to many types of costumes.
