I heard about the books when I was younger, and I remember the live Saturday morning Fudge TV show, but I never got around to reading the books until recently. Guess I missed a lot. This is now one of the best middle grade books I have read and it was interesting and funny both. Peter and Fudge really stole the show. Fudge a little more because of his childish (and childishly funny) antics and how Peter copes with them. How will Peter survive it all? Read it!
