This device did not regularly automatically switch on its own. I had contacted J-Tech about it. They would not replace, as some devices switches are plugged into constantly receive signals so they will not auto switch. It seemed like it was going to be a hassle to deal with them. Even with the remote, I would still need to reset (unplug) this device for some unknown reason. The remote control has broken now, as I have replaced batteries and it is not working. I am breaking down and replacing this entire unit with a different brand. Junk.
