I used to say I absolutely "loved" the Tradd Street books but with this latest one, I am beginning to get a little bored. Hopefully in the next books (if there are any more), Melanie will use her gift much more beyond the house which hopefully the book has set that stage. There is no doubt that Karen White is a good writer and the kept me interested throughout (which is rare for most books to keep me that interested). I like her mysteries much better than the other books she writes which tend to be somewhat boring with all the inner thinking of the characters to the point of almost ad nauseam. The book is worth a shot if you can get past the on again off again relationship between Melanie and Jack. The four stars are for really good writing and most of the plot.
