This book held my interest from the beginning. It is light reading, and there are parts that are unrealistic, but that's what she does best. It follows a woman from debutante to spy through the war, marriage and motherhood. The main character although putting her life at risk, seems to come out just fine. Realistic? hardly, but an excellent read. This is one of her best recent books because she goes back to what she does best, create interesting characters with interesting if unrealistic lives.
