I read this book on a lazy Sunday in quarantine and I must say it did entertain me. I happen to live in Dunedin, the town where the story takes place so that drew me in a little more. One thing I could have done without was all of the praying and god stuff the characters professed. It seemed extraneous to me and really kind of turned me off a little; not enough for me to put the book down but enough for me to say “really...again with the praying”.
