Customer Review

Reviewed in the United States on November 8, 2017
An exceptional, well written study of the lies, deceit, mistakes and mismanagement of the US Bureau of Reclamation, the railroads, and greedy citizens presented to potential settlers/pioneers of the eastern US, luring them with false pretenses to relocate and purchase/settle on land that received little, to no yearly rainfall, and by expressly, and falsely stating high precipitation in the mid-west and western states.
This masterful study, specifically the sections regarding the Los Angeles California area, is not very thinly disguised in the 1974 Roman Polanski directed film, Chinatown, starring Jack Nicholson and Faye Dunaway.
It will change the way you feel about every drop of water you consume.
