I loved Missing Molly but this book totally lost me. The main character is obviously mentally ill, as is her husband, so the reader really doesn't feel any sort of positive emotion for either of them. The writing is also quite choppy. There is also a huge plot detail that's totally wrong. In the opening chapter the main character, author of the book "The Lie" is on trial for the murder of her husband, but she never wrote a book called the Lie, as it's not mentioned anywhere else in the story and when we replay the trial for the death of her husband that book is not even mentioned. VERY confusing.
