The author of this book has, at best, a very elementary understanding of book launches and the book industry. Even though in the book description it says, "This isn't one of those "game the system books" to become a Bestseller on Amazon. There are plenty of those available (ie: become a Bestseller by making a minimum amount of sales in a small niche category)," that's exactly what he suggests doing.
Not only is his advice horrible, some of it is actually against Amazon KDP's TOS and could get your book removed from sale and/or endanger your entire account. Don't get suckered into following this guy's advice. I can't believe people actually pay him to run their launches. He's aiming for people who want the empty vanity stroke of saying they're a "bestseller" because they got that orange tag on Amazon. If you actually want to make your living as a writer or make a substantial income from your books (not just use them to trick people into thinking you're an expert so they'll buy your upsells) save your money.
