The evocative, lovely language Ms O'Neal always employs in her novels is a key note of her style, and makes this story come to life with imagery and feeling. Memorable characters, each very unique, have their own stories to tell in the POV of each, yet are woven skillfully together into the plot. Each women is a blogging "star" in the foodie world, as they reunite on one's Pacific NW organic farm--an elderly maverick-type lady with a major decision pressing upon her. My only criticism would be that first, the title doesn't tie in at all with the story - I did look for it, but never found the actual phrase. The numerous "Blue Moon" thread would have made for a better title. The other weakness was in the romantic story of the two younger characters, which seemed rather fast, pat and tied up in a cliche at the end. But these minor points do not ruin the overall wonderful story for me. If you love women's fiction with touches of romance, earthy settings, and the Mystical, then you will enjoy this novel.
