The Blood of Olympus was the fifth and final book in the Heroes of Olympus Series. This book had a lot of action and did great with character development and incorporating Greek myths. It was also interesting to meet characters like Reyna and Nico through their POV chapters, but I really wanted Percy and Annabeth to have their own POV in this book.

The reason I'm giving it four stars instead of five is because I was really disappointed in the book as a whole (even though it was still an interesting and overall good book). I'm disappointed because it didn't meet my expectations after the fourth book "The House of Hades" which was an impressively great book.

SPOILERS!!!! - At the end, they have a battle with the giants, and it makes it seem like the giants are normal monsters. They're not even that difficult to beat. When Gaia rises in the end, it takes like two seconds to defeat her, which was extremely underwhelming. The ending resolution also wasn't my favorite, even though I'm happy with what happened between Leo and Calypso.
