I have only owned the Bonsaii EverShred C149-C for about a week and in that time have only used it once. This said, I can already tell it’s an upgrade to the Bonsaii EverShred C169-B it replaced. The wheels make it more portable (which originally I thought I wouldn’t care about until having to lug it around) and the bigger basket means I’ll have to empty it out less. I’ll defer further product description as this review will focus on Bonsaii’s customer service more than the Bonsaii EverShred C149-C.

As previously mentioned, I owned 2 C169s over the last couple years. Both were awesome but unfortunately met the similar fate of cracking apart. Ordinary, this is where I’d cut ties with a brand/company but because Bonsaii provided such stellar customer service the first time I needed a replacement (which they were happy to do) I decided to reach out to them.

I received a quick response to my email to the company and even had the pleasure of working with the same Bonsaii Customer Support rep that helped me before. As the second shredder was no longer under warranty, they could not simply offer a replacement like they did with the first which I understood and expected. However, what I didn’t expect was the Bonsaii Customer Support Rep to be genuinely empathetic to my situation and actively seek a positive outcome for me. I was offered a discount on replacement and was even provided suggestions of their shredders which might better fit my needs that I shared with them.

As I stated in my previous review, it is easy when for a business to provide seemingly excellent customer service when things go perfectly. However, it’s a true testament to a business’ character to continue to do so when things go wrong; especially if they went wrong again. For this reason I decided to stick with Bonsaii yet again for my shredding needs.
