Do not take it to a Verizon store, they gave me wrong info and said the phone wasnt compatible and locked still. I was furious to say the least so i got on Verizon website to look for a new phone and decided to chat with an online rep first. I told them my situation and she asked for the IMEI code and low and behold, it is compatible and unlocked!!! Within 15 minutes SIM card from old phone to new and new S9 was up and running!!! Buy this phone and just chat on-line with a Verizon rep to set it up and you'll have no issues!!! Stay away from these high school kids running a Verizon store, they obviously have no clue, go directly to the main source at Verizon.com!!!
