This was a real page-turner for me. The author is so good at cliffhanger chapter endings ... sometimes, it can get to be overkill in a book, but not in Ms Jewell’s hands. I knew going in that there would be three storylines, and was worried it would be a convoluted mess (as some other books I’ve read), but they were tied in seamlessly, and the stories flowed so well together.
I felt strong connections to the main characters and got very attached to a couple of them. The descriptions of places were well-done, too.
A very enjoyable read with some great twists, surprises, and mysteries ... believable and natural. I liked the ending, too. Highly recommend this well-written book!
