It took me some time to get "into" this book. I had been reading some non-fiction, and with all the prep for the mission, I even considered giving up. But I'd never given up on a Craig Alanson book before, so I hung in there and was rewarded with fireworks, suspense, tech, and humor. My only negative - which has nothing to do with the plot, characters, or writing, is that my Kindle version had an average of one to two yellow-highlighted words or phrases on almost every page. It was quite distracting and I couldn't get rid of it. I think I reported nearly all of them.
