I very much enjoyed this movie. The acting was a smidge forced at certain moments, and it took me a little bit to actually get into the story, but once I did, it was a great experience. :)
I enjoyed the age-old question of "if God is good, then why does He allow bad things to happen? Why the suffering of innocents? Why the natural disasters" the list and varieties of the question goes on endlessly. It's been explored by the Church, by religious leaders, by famous authors such as Tolkien and Lewis...and yet still we ask.
This movie is another version of that answer to that question, and I feel the movie did a great job of exploring and answering. All while not falling into the syrupy pitfalls of some "Christian" screenplays.
If you enjoyed "God's Not Dead", then you will enjoy this movie. :)
