I’ve always loved SK’s short stories the best and this collection did not disappoint.
My favorite was Rat. Creepy where I thought it was going, even though it was written over a year ago. I won’t spoil it but I will say there’s a twist in there.
My only complaint is that I’d prefer if he (or anyone, really) didn’t mention a certain well known person whom I loathe (if you don’t know who I am talking about, you’re better of for it, trust me) and he did so a few times in this book. I read good stories to forget about the bad things in real life, not to be reminded.
Anyway, still deserves 5 stars. Keep them coming Steve; my appetite for your stories is not yet sated.
