This is an excellent thriller/horror story. For the first full half of the book the pace is fairly slow with little pieces of information strewn here and there. Then comes a scene when there is a loud bang on a door. And all hell breaks loose. The last 180 pages are a thrill a minute and the book is hard to get away from. I would put it down to do something and race right back to it. This is the tenth title by Jeremy Bates that I’ve read and he is the real deal. He is a bit of a mix of Stephen King and Richard Laymon. You won’t regret your purchase.
