Abrams and Fisher have taken a step back in time with this book. An offering that is based on historical transcripts from an actual murder trial. Abrams, utilizing his experience as an attorney, introduces us as to how the murder occurred, the lawyers selected, pre-trial meetings with the client, and the actual murder trial. Abrams explains how personal feelings can be involved when there is a relationship between the client, witnesses and the attorney. We get the feeling that we are actually witnessing this trial via Abrams descriptions and the dialogue created by him. A terrific insight into Lincoln the Lawyer. A great historical read which I thoroughly recommend.
