Customer Review

There’s nothing visually there for younger toddlers—every page is just a tree and some plain letters. The text has a nice rhythm but its anthropomorphic alphabet story line seems to drill the memorization of letter names—not letter sounds—so it’s actually a lot of abstractions that probably aren’t helpful/interesting unless the child is old enough to understand these abstractions and jokes but still struggling to name the letters in the alphabet. I’m not a fan of books that have a teaching agenda.
