This had an intriguing start, but as the story wore on there were so many vying factions to keep in mind. On top of
that, the number of shootout scenes was more than the average LL novel. I cannot say that I really enjoyed the
story as much as others by the same writer. I felt relieved when I reached the last page. That is not my usual
reaction to the end of L'amour novel.
