This is my 4th Jason Isbell cd I've bought; southeastern, something more than free, and Nashville sound. First saw him on Austin City Limits and was hooked. Favorite tracks I most liked were the haunting song Only Children, the great guitar licks and lyrics to Overseas, Running with our eyes closed, anthem song Be Afraid, It gets easier about his own fight with alcohol (thank you Amanda for the intervention), and Letting you go about Jason raising his daughter. All 5 star songs. The rest are very good too, but I have my favorites. I feel we will be talking about this singer/songwriter like James Taylor was for my generation (I'm 60). I look forward to the chance to go to one of his concerts and of course his next release.
