When my local store stopped carrying label tape refills for the Dymo LabelManager 160 (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005X9VZ70) I had purchased from them only a month prior, they exchanged that label maker for this one - the DYMO LetraTag LT-100H.

I HATE IT.

The keyboard is not qwerty. Anyone who is more than a hunt and peck typist at a computer (so basically anyone under the age of 60) is going to be totally infuriated by trying to find letters on this thing.

It only prints to the middle third of whatever tape you load. No matter what size font you use or what borders you select, it maintains a 30% margin on top and bottom. Selecting the largest font size and bolding it just gets you REALLY WIDE letters. Letters which traditionally drop "below the line" like lowercase 'p', 'y', or 'g' are smashed to make them smaller and keep them above that imaginary margin. The attached photo is two separate labels from this labelmaker - one in the small font size and one in the largest size with bolding. Notice that the borders are exactly the same height, and the "y" in Kyle is all smooshed. Also note the nasty pixelated look of the large font when printed out. Ugh!

There's no equivalent to the shift key - only caps lock. You can either turn caps lock or turn it off. So capitalizing things like names or places takes twice as many button presses, which is already annoying because none of the buttons are where you expect if you ever use a qwerty keyboard.

The printing comes out a lot more pixelated with this DYMO labeler than with the other one I tried, on top of all these other issues, even though it costs literally twice as much.

So screw this thing. It is AWFUL.
