Just like mike96a1 stated in his review, for some reason there is "oversplash" around the entire border of the projected image.. played around with some of the settings but have not found a way to get rid of it.. very annoying when projecting on a screen.. Picture quality is great, fan noise is minimal, just to bad it has this flaw... I hope Optoma sees this review and responds with a way to adjust or fix this issue.. I Will adjust the star rating if this issue gets resolved..

The shadow border around the projected image from the HD143X is inherent to the architecture of the new DMD chip used. It is not noticeable when used with a projection screen with black frame and does not affect picture quality. The unit will still preform as expected.
