So far, this bag has served me well ! While I can't attest to its "durability" or "sturdiness" having only carried it about a month - initial impressions are positive. The material is thick enough to keep the shape of the bag when standing, and the top (dual) handle is sewn on each side of the main large pocket - so the carrying balance is comfortable. This bag also has an adjustable shoulder strap with twisting buckles - which keep the strap oriented no matter how many times you "cross-over" to the opposite shoulder. It has pockets on pockets, pockets in pockets, and even some semi-secret inside pockets - all with zipper closures - and even an expansion zipper for over-stuffers. (that zipper is color coded too.) One feature I especially appreciated was a velcro closure in the "briefcase" pocket, which limits the movement of the outside section so it won't fall open completely, spilling whatever is loose. Should you want the open flap (like for an ad-hoc "desk area," simply undo the velcro ! (a thoughtful design element IMO.) One thing for sure, for the price it's hard to beat. There are a lot of inexpensive but cheap and flimsy bags around, so I was quite glad to find this utilitarian piece.
