A very interesting, must read if you follow politics. First my warnings: the first 20% of the book is continual attacks on Trump in Wilson’s vulgar tone. Some is funny but it quickly gets old. Second, Rick is vulgar. Some funny, some repetitive so you decide if you like his style. Generally I’m ok with it but a little goes a long way.

The payoff is the last 80%. He lays out a map and lectures Democrats (I’ve often wondered why they are bad politicians) on how to beat Trump and how to not continue to do what they do. No policy papers, no Far Left Wing. Just beat Trump in the 15 states up for grabs and use technology repeatedly. It’s actually pretty fascinating and possibly the most fascinating part is him describing the elections he’s won against Democrats for using these tactics. He basically lays out the secret about how dumb Democrats are at elections. And another good comment he makes is about the generational candidates the Democrats had: JFK, Clinton and Obama. I’m not saying fall in love with them. Just that they had that special ingredient voters recognized and loved. Same as Reagan.

So enjoy this book. Everyone should read it for the inside story. Many will be upset.
