Tension is a given with Colleen Coble; this story has the added puzzlement of how in the world these seemingly unrelated crimes are interwoven. Attacks are relentless; figuring out the mastermind takes some time. The question of culpability--suspecting but not wanting to know--is asked. Lessons abut truth, trust, and forgiveness are conveyed. I'm always amazed at how the deeper issues can be brought up when the action moves so swiftly.
