This is a sturdy, inexpensive mount. I read in product description and reviews that the mount allows for minor adjustments to level after mounting the wall bracket, so that if you are not quite level with your wall bracket you can still get the TV level. There is nothing about that in the instructions, and no obvious mechanism to accomplish that. My wall mount was off a little bit, but I was able to compensate by sliding a tooth pick between one of the TV bracket mounting hooks and the edge of the wall bracket on which it hangs.
The tilt function works fine, but the tilt angle has to be set before hanging the TV onto the wall mount. The TV must be pulled off the wall bracket to adjust the tilt angle. Furthermore, with the TV tilted downward (as mine is), there is no access to the screws on the lower end of the TV bracket that are supposed to be tightened to the lower edge of the wall bracket in order to fully secure the TV bracket to the wall bracket. So my 55-inch 40-pound TV is just hanging by the two bracket hooks to the top rail of the wall mount. I don't think that's a problem, but it is not ideal. Most other mount systems have little pull tabs that hang down to secure (or release) the lower bracket engagement.
