Nearly twenty years ago, I bought a tripod that was cheap ($30) but even now is still as sturdy as the day I bought it and still in use today. After recently buying several tripods at the same price point, I've learned $30 doesn't seem to get a decent tripod these days. With that lesson learned and after reading reviews on SEVERAL tripods, the decision to risk purchasing the ZOMEi Camera Tripod 62" Light Weight tripod.
After a month of use, no field work, only moving/adjusting within studio, the tripod still seems solid. Legs hold position, ball is steady (not using anything over DSLR with attachments weight). The quick shoe works well, but I need to test it a little more.
So far, I'm pretty impressed with this tripod. The included carrying case and adjustment tools are nice additions, but so far the tools don't seem necessary. This did not include a cell phone adapter, so if you need one, it's an additional purchase.
