I picked this book originally kind of on a lark. I saw it and thought, 'this might be interesting enough to keep me occupied for a couple of hours.' Much to my surprise, this book turned into a can't-put-it-down kind of read from about paragraph 3 on.

Having served in the US Air Force and having some knowledge of the Office of Special Investigations (OSI), I really didn't expect much from this series. To have the stage set with the character 'in-country' during war time taking an active part in fighting was a surprise to me. I thought it rather a bold and ingenious move on Mr. Cameron's part.

This tale with middle eastern terror as the centerpiece plot line was very well developed, paced tremendously well, and was executed flawlessly I thought. The manner in which the tale unravels was top shelf.

This book is well written, timely, and has very interesting characters -- in addition to edge of your seat action. I very much recommend giving it a read!
