I have huge hands, and this mouse feels very good to me.
The surface is not smooth, but rather it has a comfortable, grippy sort of texture. The thumb number pad is angled so that you can easily discriminate between buttons without searching around everywhere. Not only is the number pad remappable, but so too are the up-and-down buttons that normally govern increasing / decreasing the speed of the mouse. There's also a size-of-the-left-mouse-button button which has a nice click to it that's remappable.
The RGB coloring is subtle but pleasant. Most importantly, the software that lets you set up macros seems lightweight and intuitive to use, though I haven't done anything more than the most basic setup.
The mouse comes with all of the tiny weights already physically loaded into the mouse, and the weight feels good like that, though your mileage may vary.
I own a Razer Naga Chroma, and I think I actually prefer this mouse. But I have only a day of experience with it, so we'll see where things go. The fact that the number pad has two rows of inward-angled keys, making them easy to distinguish, is invaluable. I would highly recommend this mouse.
