Thoroughly enjoyed this read! Jumping between two series of murders from the past and the present had me worried it would be either redundant or confusing. However, the author does a great job of streaming the two timelines together in a way that had me glued to my kindle waiting for the next clue or dreading the next victim. My critique is it didn't explain the elusive hero, it was too short, and it left me somewhat unsatisfied at the end. My displeasure was not enough to knock it down a star as it was a really good story and I absolutely must buy the next book. Yet, I wish it had given me a bit more before the end.
