Gorgeous to browse. Fun. But when I looked up "Stilt" in the index, it wan't there. So I tried "Avocet" - again nothing. I managed to remember that it was "American Avocet," and found that in the index. Which led me to the bird before in the book, which was "Black-necked Stilt," and indeed, there is an index entry for that. The text content didn't have me saying "oh, wow," but appears to be serviceable. I won't regret having this, but it will remain home - and I doubt it will be near the top of the pile once the novelty has worn off.
