The Jeecoo J20 Gaming Headset is a massive step in the affordable gaming headset market. This is one of the most comfortable headsets I've used and its only $20! I'm a big fan of faux leather, or any other soft fabric material, and the Jeecoo J20 uses a faux smooth leather like material with ample amounts of cushion in the ear cups and headband. The clamp force, for me, is almost perfect, but leans towards the slightly too much side of things. I have a pretty small head so that might be a problem for those with larger noggins. Moving on to the sound quality. I find the quality to be a bit heavy on the bass side of things, but still VERY good for this price range. It's quite surprising. I could listen to music with these and be more than happy with the quality. I originally had these plugged into the front IO audio ports and experienced some occasional static popping sounds. I decided to try and plug them directly into the motherboard and while it may have helped a little, popping was still apparent. This could be specific to my headset so take that with a grain of salt. Next up is the microphone. Every time I hear these cheap gaming headset mics it just blows me away. We’ve come a long way from the old Xbox 360 microphones! This mic works great. The sound quality is very good, and it does the trick for game coms or skype/discord. The noise suppression does a good job of dampening typing and canceling out any unwanted sounds in your environment. I did a short mic test so you could hear the mic for yourself. I like that the mic folds up and tucks away so that its not in the way and does so in a way that makes it seem like there isn’t a mic on the headset at all. This I a big deal for me because I already own a condenser mic and don’t like seeing the headset mic in my peripheral. Thumbs up.
