I liked Glamorous Illusions. This book I loved. When the second book of the series is better than the first, you know you're onto a good thing. This book starts where the last left off; our crew is still traveling around Europe, trying to avoid annoying reporters, etc, etc. The romantic tension is still great. But, what I really liked in this one was all that went unsaid, all the plans and thoughts under the surface. My one objection to this series is that the secondary characters are not always well-formed. Of course, that's why they're not main characters, but sometimes it feels like they're just - there. Will and Cora, however, are very well-expanded upon. Cora was always a strong character, but she really begins to come into her own here. Anyway, a brilliant book, and a series well worth reading.
